History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to clean up the streets

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Ulblyn reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. During his travels, Ulblyn and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ulblyn discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ulblyn fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
