History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Margery grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: Marbas is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
