History: Fabien hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pyxrin grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. After a long history of fighting, Pyxrin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When Vonana reached her early adolescence her Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Rael took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
