In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. He struck the Blacksmith job and began his own company from there.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Hrathy is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
