History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Shedinn's homeland. Shedinn decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

She did whatever it took for her to survive. She tends to her Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Trey was born with his father's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
