History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Rael was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rael's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: Kellen was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Elysande was born the youngest of three triplets. One day when Elysande was young, her father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her father dropped to the ground dead. Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Elysande was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Rael was born the youngest of three triplets. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and expand his business

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Tordrid enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dragonborn people; and balancing her hectic life and new mason responsibilities is difficult
