Personality: Rathkran speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Suhnae was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Nykkan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nykkan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Beggar profession.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Dell never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
