History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Cockaby was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born into a rich family. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and many giants want him driven away
