When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Cory began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Cory was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Flame was born the youngest of three triplets. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon.
