Description: He wears a simple green robe with black stripes complete with hood. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shield, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His rusty crest is matted, messy, and big. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Gargax abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. After a long history of fighting, Gargax and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural dragonborn artifacts is his passion

Personality: Richard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.
History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.

Description: This late middle aged man has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his red robe and is in decent physical shape. His hair is auburn and very short. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Naeris is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Naeris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: Gurdis lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and obtaining odd cultural tabaxi artifacts is her passion

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Ahrim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and gnomish compassion

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his broad white hat.
Personality: He hates Halflings with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vlorn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Elven compassion; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
