History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Margery was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Painter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Through the years after Anverth was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Anverth's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Anverth and his spouse have recently divorced.
