History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His childhood dream was to be a Seamstress, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
