History: She was born in a small plains village. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Jade was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a white armored body suit, with a simple brown line shooting up and back down. She is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: He stands about 6'5" and wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He has moderate length chestnut hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriax. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Junk Dealer and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her singing dream.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Shax abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign.
