History: Gifted from a young age, Volen studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He's also a talented Bellfounder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Cora alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Cora was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.
