Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Melissa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During her travels, Melissa and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Melissa discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Melissa fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born in the south to a Locksmith, Faral learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Locksmith for hire.
Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
