History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Thervan learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Ploughman, but he got bored and became a Cartwright. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after Gimble was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gimble's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Gimble and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Pearl was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Pearl was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Fletcher. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Dilettante but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to be a shepherd again
