Personality: Beiro is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He takes great joy in being the best Sellsword in town.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sellsword. He became a Sellsword soon after.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Jak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Joan was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Joan decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She's also a talented Laborer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. Her hair is short and blue. Her eyes are silver and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nija grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nija. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
