History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gargax alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with her Sage father left her crippled. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born in the north to a Roofer, Valanthe learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
