History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Murook was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Shifting was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Erky learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Bellfounder father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
