History: Gifted from a young age, Mella studied abroad. Through the years after Mella was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Mella's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Quilla is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born in a small island village. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is her passion

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her tied-back hair is red. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Hugolina lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born in the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She's in love.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and balancing her hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

Her gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
