History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Helen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Bricklayer profession.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was taken from her home at a very young age. After a long history of fighting, Synthrin and her spouse have recently divorced.
