Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zaffrab was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Naal's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to prove his worth to the world

History: Born to a Sailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Halfling compassion.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Mormo was born with his father's beautiful face. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the north
