History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Burana took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Akmen was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Akmen was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Akmen and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Oolah was born with her mother's beautiful face. Through the years after Oolah was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Oolah's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
