History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Volen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Odo was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Odo's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Oolah was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Katherine fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
