History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ildrex was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.
