Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: The child of a Fletcher, who enjoyed hunting, Manfred was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: She hates drow. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She works hard and plays hard.
History: Creega hails from a village terrorized by drow. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she wants revenge against drow

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
History: The child of a Seamstress, who enjoyed hunting, Lone was taken on many hunting expeditions. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Medrash is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Being a Beggar kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
