History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Nelkin was taken on many hunting expeditions. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Borun grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Borun. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Ulla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ulla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and sabotage a competitor
