History: Born in the north to a Stylist, Cecily learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Priest, but she got bored and became a Stylist. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Stylist for the past few years.

More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born in the south. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Barber. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Aerdeth wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Aerdeth was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Finellen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Finellen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
