Description: He is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a hunchback. His white hair is lengthy. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Carrie was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Carrie decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Bellfounder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and he perpetually has his sword ready. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.
History: Aline was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and seeks redemption

She has several tiny jet earrings on each ear.
Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
