She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Maiathah alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
