History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Miller, but he got bored and became a Marshal. He has worked as a Marshal like his father before him.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. A true patriot, Oriel would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Oriel has worked very hard to control her curse. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born in the east. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has dyed his greying rusty crest a little too much giving a sharp rusty color. His ears are large.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

History: Dayereth was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, and is pretty ugly. She has done her best to style her blue crest to look like a famous performer. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to get a good night's sleep
