His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Ar-Gul is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a animal trainer and was forced into it by his family

History: She got into the Engraver business at a young age. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a Interpreter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Jade was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Jade's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Jade and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and wants to work out more often

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Frederick was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Doctor. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Tordrid lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a seamstress and was forced into it by her family

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. A freak accident while working with her Interpreter father left her crippled. After a long history of fighting, Oriff and her spouse have recently divorced.
