Bathin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bathin. History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student she started as a Sailor, but she got bored and became a Shoemaker. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Forcas took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
