History: Born in the west to a Doctor, Jarana learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has achieved small success as a Doctor.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
