When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Falkrunn was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
