History: Born in the south to a Mercenary, Calcitro learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mercenary for hire.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sora lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Trag was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. The war was a terrible time for her, and Werydd does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Pûg was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Pûg's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Miner mother left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
