Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Sailor profession.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His first spouse was a Sailor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: She was born in a small desert village. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Flame has worked very hard to control her curse. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Traulam was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Numba was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has worked as a Laborer like her mother before her.
