Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Murook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 3'1" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and blue handkerchief worn on her left side. She has slicked back white hair. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.
History: Eloise was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He wears tattered old clothes, and he perpetually has his scythe ready. His chestnut hair is still thick. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his broad grey hat.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Simon grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Crown-heir they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Jeweler, and he later adopted a second son.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
