Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt, and is pretty ugly. She has styled her silver hair well, parting it to the right. She is baby faced.

Personality: Yurgunn is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the north were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is her passion

She carries with her a set of greatswords on her belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. Her silver hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His first spouse was a Brewer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Paela was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Through the years after Paela was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Paela's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is an amazing painter.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
