Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Dustin hails from a village terrorized by drow. Dustin was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Marshal. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Dustin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down, marred by sweets. Her broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Patrick was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Patrick's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her religion dominates her actions

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Navigator job and began his own company from there.

Description: She wears tattered old clothes. She is portly but not overly obese. Her black fur is still thick. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Right-Handed is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She bought a kukri and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
