Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

History: Osco was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

Volen liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.
