History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Marastyr took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up dagger and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
