History: Pyra hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pyra. History: He was born in the south. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Shadow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Dariff took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor she uses now. She now owns her own business.
