History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Barfa was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents enrolled him in a Rogue school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Dwarven companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He now owns his own business.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Clerebold was born with his father's beautiful face. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to reunite with his old friends
