Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.
History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is a Herbalist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Crampernap was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
