History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

History: Gorbundus was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She uses divination through singing.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
