History: Rhogar hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and wants to work out more often

History: Nagrette was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Nogu's homeland. Nogu decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
