History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Kerkad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Shanairla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Shanairla abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.
