Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is content; and to end her boredom

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Zed embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Lucan is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Lucan's homeland. Lucan decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: Fistula was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fistula fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents enrolled her in a Bard school at a young age so that she could practice her druidic talents. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Gifted from a young age, Clerebold studied abroad. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
