Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kipper was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
